Colleen Jones, CEC, ACC


Colleen is a Certified Executive Coach and seasoned HR leader who brings over 20 years of progressive experience in Talent Management Consulting and Financial Services. Through her experience as a Coach, helping individuals who felt "stuck" navigate themselves to more meaningful work, Colleen realized her own purpose: to help others uncover their 'why' and plan to achieve their career goals. Colleen has coached hundreds of early, mid-career and senior level leaders, enabling them to identify their strengths, values, goals and plan the next steps to their success. 


Colleen began her career as a project manager with a Leadership Development firm, branching out into both business development and consulting roles. After returning from her second maternity leave, Colleen was anxious for a career change and decided to round out her experience by moving into an Internal Coaching role for one of Canada's big banks. In this role she served as a Talent Advisor to Executives and Emerging Talent, coaching talent, leading high potential identification discussions, designing talent strategies and consulting on senior leader succession decisions. From this position, Colleen moved into a role leading the enterprise-wide career strategy, designing strategies, tools and resources to support the career development of the banks workforce. 

Over the course of 14 years in Management Consulting, Colleen gained deep expertise in the field of Talent Management and an understanding of a wide variety of industries through partnerships with clients big and small. Her subsequent experience in the corporate world grounded her in the realities and complexities of working within and navigating a large organization, affording her a unique combination of best practice knowledge and a pragmatic approach. 

On a personal note, Colleen is a mom to two active girls who brought to her the realization that every minute spent at work and away from her kids needs to be meaningful! Having felt disconnected from her own purpose working in a large organization, Colleen is delighted to leverage her combined management consulting and corporate HR experience to pursue her dream of helping others align who they are, with what they do. Colleen is most commonly recognized for her innate ability to ask powerful questions that serve as a catalyst for deep revelation and change. 

Colleen holds an Honours BA from York University, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Sheridan College and an Executive Coaching Certification from Royal Roads University.
